First-time U.S. Sen. Mike Braun is making waves in the health insurance reform debate.
Braun introduced a bill last week requiring all health care providers to post their prices so patients can shop around.
Braun supports President Donald Trump's call for a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, but he said a replacement must have key provisions of the ACA, including coverage for pre-existing conditions and no caps on coverage.
"Republicans have been apologists for the health care industry," Braun said. "I never have been because I took them on in my own business to get sustainable, good insurance for my employees."
Braun has also introduced three bills aimed at reducing prescription drug costs.
